The Nicoll range of gutters and downspouts is designed to offer performance, aesthetics and durability in all types of buildings: from single-family homes to multi-family buildings or industrial facilities.
TECHTAN®: innovation with a 30-year guarantee
The choice of gutters and downspouts should not be taken lightly, neither from a functional nor an aesthetic point of view. This drainage system protects the foundations from water infiltration and, being visible, forms an integral part of the facade.
Nicoll gutters are made of TECHTAN®an exclusive and ultra-resistant synthetic material. This material not only contributes to the long-lasting protection of the building, but also enhances its aesthetics.
Nicoll gutters made of TECHTAN® have a 30-year warrantybeing the first synthetic material on the market to offer this coverage.

Nicoll patented technology, manufactured according to European standards.
Our TECHTAN® range is made to meet 100% of your needs.
Profiles and accessories comply with NF EN 607. The hooks comply with the NF EN 1462 standard .
They meet the requirements of European standards: NF EN 607: profiles and fittings for gutters; NF EN 1462: hanging hooks for gutters (PVC or metal).
Invisible hook
With its completely invisible hook, the NICOLL gutter system is more discreet and aesthetically pleasing.
The hook supports a load of 50 kg ( EN 1462 class L). The free sliding between the hook and the profile facilitates installation and controls expansion.
How to size your gutter system correctly?
The correct sizing of the rainwater drainage system is essential to ensure its efficiency and durability. Below, we explain the key steps:
1. Evaluate the type of roof.
The design of the roof influences the installation:
- Single roof with free edge
- Gable roof
- hipped roof
- Roof with blocking at both ends
Identify your pluviometric zone.
Consult the isohyets map to know the average annual rainfall intensity in your area. This will allow you to calculate the rainfall intensity (I) required for sizing.
*See more information in the documentation at the bottom of the page.
3. Calculate the collection area
![]()
Determine the roof plane with the largest area in horizontal projection.
Example: Roof 10 m x 8 m = 80 m².
4. Select the right model
![]()
Depending on the rainfall intensity and the roof surface, make your choice:
- The geometry of the gutter
- The diameter of the downspout
- The number of downspouts required
*See more information in the documentation at the bottom of the page.
5. Consider the length of the sections
- If the section exceeds 12 linear meters, it is necessary to foresee dilatations.
- Use expansion downspouts or special joints to avoid stresses in the system.
