We offer a complete range of non-return valves for sewage networks, being Ottima the most technologically advanced solution.
It is installed in the drainage pipes and allows the normal flow of water to the public network, preventing its return.
In case of overloading of the networks, there is a risk of flooding in garages, basements and half-buried premises. Installing a non-return valve protects the house from backflow and avoids significant economic damage.
Recommended applications:
- Semi-buried premises.
- Areas near rivers, lakes or the sea
- Areas with heavy rainfall and old sewers
- Undersized sewage networks
- Rapidly growing urban areas
- Presence of pumping stations in the municipal network
Operation
Normal discharge
Anti-return activated
The "Ottima" non-return valve
The Ottima valve can incorporate a double stainless steel tilting disc, which allows water to flow into the network, but closes automatically in case of backflow. This system also blocks the passage of rodents that could enter the house through the pipes.
Where to place the non-return valve?
The "Ottima" non-return valve is installed in an accessible and inspectable manhole.
The non-return valve must be foreseen at the design and sizing stage of the building's drainage system, but if this was not done during construction, it can be easily intervened even afterwards.
The advantages of the "Ottima" non-return valve
The "Ottima" valve is easy to inspect, requires no tools to open and has quick release handles. The valve is easy to open
even in confined spaces. For proper operation, an inspection is recommended once a year.
The device is marked and complies with EN 13564, guaranteed by an authorized institute.
The body and cover are made of injection molded rigid PVC.
The dimensions of the couplings comply with EN 1401 and EN 1329. The coupling system can be of the glued or coupled type with sealing gasket, the coupling gaskets are certified according to EN 681.
The inspection cover is removable and is equipped with a lever release system, the hydraulic sealing gasket is solid with the cover.
The plates are removable and are equipped with a non-removable solidary hydraulic sealing gasket. The valve is manufactured in accordance with the requirements for design, operation and maintenance of drainage installations, according to EN 12056.
