PP seal
SUMPS AND LIDS FOR SOIL DRAINAGE
REDI Monolithic Manholes and Covers can be used as an inspection chamber for clear water and rainwater or as an inspection box for electrical shunts or grounding.
Use: As an alternative to lids when the aesthetic continuity of a pavement or turf is to be maintained. The seal cavity will need to be properly filled with earth or mortar depending on the type of existing pavement (see examples shown).
Installation: the seal fits perfectly into the Redi PP manhole, while for sealing concrete manholes or special cases, the installation of the framed version is recommended. The special concealed central pin ensures easy lifting of the seal.
Area of application: pedestrian areas or areas subject to bicycle or moped traffic.
Durability: the characteristics of polypropylene, a plastic material not prone to corrosion, make the Redi seal the best alternative to sheet metal products that are more vulnerable to weathering and aging.
